The Color Blocking Trend-Done Right!

The Color Blocking Trend-Done Right!

Color Blocking is all the rave this summer, in case you're still wondering what it means or how to wear it without looking like a fashion flub here are a few examples of Color Blocking done right by celebrities and on the runways.

Q: What is Color Blocking? Wearing 3 or more different color clothing items at the same time.

Q: How do I  select the colors?
  • Wear colors from the same family for a harmonious look, for example mix bright pinks with vivid fuchsias, and turquoise with royal blue.
  • Opposite colors also work well together for example mix regal purple with a contrasting color like fiery orange.
  • Mix lime green with yellow and melon or rosebud pink for a pleasantly jarring combination.
  • Accessories like belts and shoes are also part of your 3  to 4 color blocks.
Celebrities like Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez have all worn the Color-Blocking trend.
