Billboard Music Awards 2011 Show Highlights: The Performances, Winners & PDA!


The Good: The most memorable performance was Beyonce's 'Run the World (Girls)' single, which she performed live for the first time and clearly upstaged the other singers/performers of the night, proving that she deserved the Millenium award. Take a look at Beyonce's performance below.


The Bad: Rihanna and Britney Spears's show opening 'SM' Remix performance, it could have been great but between the dominatrix outfits, bad vocals and out of sync choreography, the star power performance was very disappointingSee the video below.


The WinnersRihanna and Taylor Swift were the big winners of the night. Rihanna was nominated for a whopping 18 awards, among her wins were Radio Artist of the Year and Top Female Artist. While Taylor Swift snagged the Top Album Artist and Top Country Artist awards. 

The Honors:
Beyonce received a special Millenium award for her career achievements over the last 15years. She was honored via video tribute by stars and legends that included, Lady Gaga, Bono, Stevie Wonder, Barbara Streisand, and even First Lady Michelle Obama.

U2 was honored as the Top Touring Act of 2010 and legendary singer Neil Diamond received Billboard's Icon Award.

The PDA
Justin Bieber in a gold sparkling jacket and his date Selena Gomez displayed their teenage affection with kisses before accepting his award.
