Happy New Year!
I've recieved some requests for personal photos of mine. I actually do not own a functioning, non-coffee drenched camera
at this time but thanks to the wonders of "smart," phones I have all sorts of cameras, including pohotbooth and polaroid. In fact, even most of my recent lookbook.nu posts have been taken rather amateurishly with the photobooth program on my mac laptop.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy start to 2011.

me in an beautifully lit red bathroom I encountered working in Milwaukee over the summer
perhaps one of the most arresting "things," (including the incredible work at the Brooklyn Museum) that I stumbled upon in my spur-of-the-moment, solo trip to Brooklyn, NY over the Summer. This trip really opened my eyes to reality of my desires and passions in life, as corny as that sounds. This trip (and most symbollically, this arresting photo) really kind of screamed at me to do something about my unhappiness and stagnancy in my life due to anxiety to take risks and try new things. 2011 will serve as the year to really try to save $$$ to get back out there permanantly.
the watts towers in watts, ca (eastern LA). for anyone who is able and/or lives in southern ca, i would highly reccomend making the trip to see this. this photo doesn't do the beauty of Rodin's incredible work justice. truely, one of the coolest things i have ever seen.
lindsey and i. i feel really lucky to have become close with a couple of really wonderful, smart, and creative girls in the later part of 2010

halloween. well, I tried to be Margot Tennenbaum. Unfortunately, the wig I got was gray (it looked like a light blonde in the packaging!) I've decided that i made a fabulous Margot at age seventy!
Torrey's surprise birthday was a success!
