Tinkerbell Tattoo Designs

Tinkerbell tattoos may signify many things to its wearer. This character may be a symbol of the wonder and magic she represents, or it may be to express the appreciation felt for a well loved childhood memory.

Most people who wear Tinkerbell tattoos use an exact replica of the Disney version; a small, blond fairy in a green dress either in flight, or sitting with a thoughtful expression; legs crossed, fist firmly placed under her chin. Others may prefer a more simplistic version of the character, creating just the outline and filling the lines in with stark, monotone color schemes.

There are also many artists who created various illustrations of Tinkerbell. Some show this character in an incandescent blue, usually standing with a determined look on her face, her hands planted firmly on her hips. A more childlike depiction is of a tiny, round cheeked fairy with large, pointed ears and a mischievous grin on her face. There are also bronze and patina statues of this fairy. In this portrayal, she is usually shown balancing on the tip of Peter Pan’s finger. These images can easily be translated into your Tinkerbell tattoos. Either small or large, these creations are bold for their bright and imaginative colors and designs.

Many people like to use other symbols in their Tinkerbell tattoos. One of the most prevalent images is, of course, Tinkerbell spreading her fairy dust; however, she has also been depicted as a spoiled little girl carrying a Halloween pumpkin, or dancing with life-sized dolls. Tinkerbell tattoos also frequently feature things such as flowers, hearts and occasionally even flames. It is also not uncommon to see altered versions of this character, such as the goth Tinkerbell. She can be seen in striped red and black stockings, cracked gray wings and even a tattoo of her own. Another variation of this character is the pinup Tinkerbell; a slightly curvier version of Tinkerbell who wears fishnet stockings and bright red lipstick, all while wearing a come hither expression.

There are a variety of ways to display Tinkerbell in your tattoos, but however you decide to do it, you will no doubt create quite a stir with them.
