If we didn't know better, we'd think Robert Pattinson was one raging masochist. How else to explain the fact that he gets beat up in nearly all of his films? There's his Volturi smackdown in "New Moon." His police pummeling in "Remember Me." And in his upcoming release "Water for Elephants," Rob once again finds himself on the wrong side of a hurtling fist. (Though to be fair, he kind of deserves this one seeing as he's getting frisky with another man's wife.)
In a fresh batch of stills just released for the circus drama, Robert's Jacob Jankowski is in good hands—those of love interest Marlena played by Reese Witherspoon—following a dirty dust-up. In an intimate moment, Marlena wipes off Jacob's beaten face as the two gaze into each others' eyes. He may have studied veterinary sciences in school, but Jacob is totally acing chemistry in this still. While we've glimpsed saucier moments between the two thanks to several trailers, this quiet, lovely moment is almost hotter. ALMOST.
