Beef Alert: Product Of Nepotism Thinks Product Of YouTube Hasn't Worked Hard Enough

Miley Cyrus just threw a big slab of prime rib at YouTube, uh, sensation (?) Rebecca Black. At a combined age of 31, this is the most youthful "beef alert" to date, and though it probably won't reach the hair-pulling stage, it's more likely to result in punches being thrown than Pacquiao-Mayweather. Miley's "fighting" words:
"It should be harder to be an artist," she said when asked about Black. "You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour."
Snap! Maybe that's Miley's honest assessment of Black, but we can't help but think the swipe is a response to young Rebecca's recent remark: "I mean, there are some people who have had a little jump-start in the business, like Miley Cyrus, but watching Justin Bieber become big when he was so young was insane."
Double snap! It's a fair point by Rebecca; not everyone has a country singer for a father, let alone the voice and mullet of Mr. Achy Breaky Heart. But that doesn't mean that Miley doesn't have a point too. Of course, hearing criticism about how it should be "harder to be an artist" from someone who was handed a TV show on a Disney platter is a little odd. But I've thought about it and I think I figured out a way to quash this beef: neither of them ever sings again. That way we all win.
