How to Make a Good Song

Remember that your idea? You have improvisation for a while and you have some records you want to remember, what do you do? You have several options:

1. digital recorder

2. computer with a microphone

3. Phone with recorder

4. tape recorder In other words, something to record on, so you can record and listen later. Do not deceive yourself into the belief, that you will remember what you've done the next day! This is the key, record your ideas, ALWAYS, or you'll lose the idea! Melody or not? What if my idea does not consist of records, only the rhythm? Thats fine, there are several key elements of a good song, sometimes the melody is not important, these rhythms. If you have a good beat, hammering pots and pans in the kitchen, their record! You can use the beat and then, to put some lyrics or melodies that complement each other.

Structure or not? OK You have some melody, or some of the key elements of rhythm, take some time to find out how you want thoose structured melody. I will not tell you, at this stage, to follow the most common practice, you decide what is best for you, be creative. Many of the songs you hear today follow this structure: intro paragraph bridge refrain paragraph (Break or bridge) refrain (Rest) refrain outro Do not get all wrapped up about it. I give two examples of video: songstructure modern one with and one that is very much the opposite, they both hits world. Apologize by Timbaland Feat OneRepublic AND Stairway to heaven by Led Zepplin I'm not saying that, "Stairway to Heaven" did not have any structure to it. It is, but in it own way, "thinking outside the box". I know the expression might be a little cliche, but rather good also. I will not go any further with this article at this time but stayed for more and feel free to make comments.
